I am an organic geochemist with a Ph.D. in Geochemistry from MIT and a B.A. in Marine Biology and Chemistry from Barry University.

My research spans modern nitrogen cycles in coral reefs and oxygen minimum zones to the preservation of lipid biomarkers in sulfidic environments. With hands-on experience in advanced analytical techniques and bioinformatics, I have led international collaborations, published in scientific journals, and developed innovative protocols for various marine biogeochemical studies.

I have fostered collaborations with leading research institutions and contributed significantly to the scientific community through teaching, mentoring, and outreach activities.
